PUBLIC from Temotu province’s ward 16 are calling on their provincial member to clarify how he is using the ward grant.

Ariki Faka, a man with high social standing from the ward, says his ward is still yet to see any of the developments that their MPA had promised during his campaigns.

Mr Faka claims that this is their MPA’s second term in office but ‘nothing good has been done for the people’.

“The provincial member must come to the media and clarify himself to our people of how he’s been using the ward grants and where all the grants have been gone to so that our people can fully understand because right now we rely on the national government,” he said.

Ward 16 is consists of Anuta and Tikopia.

The MPA for ward 16 could not be contacted for comments.
