Savings Club workshop regarded as ‘first assistance’
FOURTY-TWO participants from Tutu and Polo communities at Northwest Choiseul attended a Savings Club training workshop for Varisi District.
The training workshop took place from March 6 – 8, at Ogho Village.
It was facilitated by the CDO of Northwest Constituency.
According to Nerio Ulemiki the media coordinator for Christ the King Parish at Voruvoru Northwest Choiseul, participants were trained on how to start and manage saving clubs.
He said the trainings aim is to help rural communities save money properly from their sources of income for future investments.
“This is one of the ongoing programmes by the MP for Northwest Choiseul regarded as ‘first assistance’ for those who are struggling for school fees and other necessary needs,” said Ulemiki.
