Mystery dead man
Deceased yet to be identified, police appeal to public
AS of yesterday evening, no one has yet identified nor claimed relative to the dead man, whose cadaver is still in the national referral hospital mortuary.
According to police media, they had issued out public appeals for anyone to come forward and help identify the body.
Police had suggested anyone missing a relative or family member to come forward and help with inquiries regarding the dead man’s identity.
However, no positive response has been registered and the body remains at the NRH morgue.
The dead man was a victim of a hit-and-run accident at Guso Point, Kukum Highway, on Friday night between 10pm and 11pm.
According to police, at the time of the accident, he was wearing a green cut-shirt and had braided his hair.
The deceased is fair skinned with an average height, is well-built and in his 30s.
Police are continuing the appeal to public to come forward and help identify the dead person.
