Rev Kube becomes first Bangara ordained minister and bishop
REV Amos Kube has become the first Bangara villager in Lauru region to be ordained minister and bishop for the United Church.
The unforgettable ordination as expressed took place on January 11, at Bangara village.
It is an unforgettable event that will always be remembered by Bangara Community said the Chairman of the ordination committee, Chief Sceva Situkesa.
On behalf of Bangara community, he thanked the Moderator of United Church, Solomon Islands Rev Wilfred Kurepitu and delegation, representatives from the nine circuits around Lauru, invited guests from other churches, relatives, friends and the general public who attended the ordination event.
“In one way or the other, you all have contributed towards the success of the ordination event,” said Chief Situkesa.
