THE Ministry of Commerce, Industries, Labour and Immigration is planning to introduce a new schedule on passport charges.

In a statement to this paper, Management of Immigration office said that the new schedule for passport charges will come into effect as of 13th next Month.

According to the statement, the new passport charges are as follows; new passport and renew passport will cost $600 while lost passport and damage passport will cost $900.

The statement further adds that an Expresses Fee known as fast processing fee will also impose in the event whereby an applicant wish to have his/her passport finish within five working days.

The statement said Express Fee is $300.
