More people going for SolRice
SOLRICE General Manager, Mr Nick Ellis, declares he is delighted by the sales results of their most recent promotion, a big price drop designed to clear stocks of the famous Solrais 20kg and 10kg packs.
SolRice has been keen to release their new pack types onto the market and join the rest of the rice suppliers with a 40lb and 20lb offer as the leading pack types available to the consumer.
“It has been a trend for some time now for the consumer to move from the traditional packs to the new 40lb and 20lb packs in the Solomon’s market. We are keen to join other suppliers and provide the consumer with the packs sizes they are clearly preferring nowadays,” says Mr Ellis
The recent promotion, which saw a large reduction in price for both of the old packs, was expected to last until the end of March but the General Manager informs us that the promotion has gone so well that 20kg will run out this week and it is likely that 10kg will run out next week.
“There will still be these packs available in retail for a short while longer, but we are most definitely not going to be able to supply them for very much longer.
“As soon as this happens, as each pack runs out, the new packs will flow into the market and will return to standard but competitive price points. The support for our promotion has been enormous and as always, we thank the retailers for supporting the special promotional prices and of course our beloved consumers, for recognising a great price for a great brand.”
Mr Ellis also said that the new packs are only the start of an exciting list of initiatives set to enter the rice category soon through SolRice.
“We have some excellent news to come for our loyal consumers and we also have some great new launches not far away, so we are excited, and my team are gearing up for a very busy period over the next couple of months.”
Mr Ellis stressed that Solgood Long Grain 20kg rice will remain at $100 retail in most stores while stock remains available.
“A good product at a great price,” he said.
