Sun Princess to celebrate Easter in Honiara
EASTER festivities in Honiara will be flocked with international visitors on board the Sun Princess cruise ship.
The Sun Princess’s will make a full-day stopover in Honiara on April 15 with 1,974 passengers.
Sun Princess’s arrival time in Honiara port is 7am, departing at 6pm, and its programmes and activities will be in and around the capital.
According to Ministry of Culture and Tourism, today the Sun Princess made its stopover in Trobriand Island and tomorrow at Rabaul, PNG, after a long sail from Sydney, Australia.
“On April 14 Princess departs from PNG to Solomon Islands which Honiara is expecting on April 15, 7am,” the Tourism Ministry said.
According to the Solomon Islands Visitors Bureau cruise ship 2017 schedule, it was highlighted Sun Princess will port in Honiara from 7am— 6pm, April 15.
SIVB also said this is Sun Princess’s first visit for this year; the second one will be next month on May 31 particularly
Honiara only for another fullday stopover.
After enjoying Easter here, the Sun Princess will be sailing directly to Vanuatu with its first stopover at Santos, then Champagne Bay and Port Vila, according to SIVB schedules.
