Continuous support for RSIPF
THE Commander of the PPF, Mr Tanti has called for public support towards the three units under the RSIPF that have been rearmed.
Police officers graduated with certificates yesterday after having undergone intensive training to prepare them for the responsibility.
The commander said their work needs public support so that everyone works together to strengthen the security of the country.
“They need public support and they have already earned public support as one of the targeted aspects under the mission of RAMSI in Solomon Islands.
“We win the support of the people of Solomon Islands and something RSIPF has doing for a long time.
“This component of RSIPF has been doing all the revolutions of public orders as part of their training for the last 18 months.
“And that is what has been expected from them to do well in policing order in Solomon Islands.
“They need public support and communities should get behind,” he said.
The commander also assured the officers that they must always take the responsibility in a way the public deserve their confidence.
He said they must carry-out their duty as the public, the RSIPF and the government of Solomon Islands entrusted them to be.
