The current movement of the trough monitored by the Meteorology Service

IT is monitored that there will be showers today up until this coming New Year weekend, according to the trough monitored by the Meteorology Service.

The Met Service said there will be no significant showers but the showers should give a few thunderstorms.

There is still no sign of any cyclone warning even for any expectations as winds are light to moderate, Met Service added.

As it is currently approaching the peak months of cyclones, the Meteorology Service would like to remind the good citizens of this country during this Christmas season to listen out for updates as they are still monitoring the weather.

They added that Solomon Airlines will be also facing some difficulty with its flight schedules through this weekend of showers.
