CHRIST the King Parish at Voruvoru Northwest Choiseul has kicked off its Christmas programme starting Wednesday this week.

Sports include soccer, netball volleyball, athletics, tug of war, diving, swimming and canoe paddling.

Other activities are to be done in the evenings and at night times like quiz, debate, Bible hunting, educational talks, dramas, island and custom dances, bamboo band and feastings taking place in the four zones of Katazi, Tutu, Voruvoru and Sariana that make up Christ the King Parish.

During the 23rd, 24th and 25th will be the spiritual part of the celebrations in which Fr Henry Paroiop the parish priest of Christ the King Parish will celebrate masses starting from Katazi zone.

According to Nerio Ulemiki, the media coordinator for Christ the King Parish, Fr Timothy Aihoraop of Sirovanga Parish will be assisting Fr Henry Paroiop to celebrate mass for Sariana zone.
