SOLOMON Airlines new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Brett Gerbers has advised that the airline is looking at options and trying to design a business friendly schedule to Brisbane, Australia

“We have some slight constraints to Brisbane at the moment. We are looking at options and trying to design a business friendly schedule to Brisbane, Australia because the schedule we are flying at the moment is not ideal for business or tourism,” said Mr Gerbers.

But he said he is going to depend on everybody to assist, and tell the airline what they actually want.

“We must have to work together, because this airline will not be sustainable unless we can actually create a product that people overseas would like to visit,” Mr Gerbers said.

He was speaking during a welcome ceremony organised by the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce and Industries (SICCI) in collaboration with Solomon Airlines.
