RSIPF are currently investigating the suspicious deaths of a male and female of Asian descent at the LGZ building premises, Town Ground.

The bodies of the two persons were located by police this morning after receiving a report from a security guard from the building.

Investigations into this matter are in the early stages and the RSIPF are dedicating numerous resources to this investigation.

At this early stage the relationship of the two people is unknown and no suspects have been identified.

Police are urging any person who may have any information, no matter how small, in regards to this matter to come forward to Police as a matter of urgency.

Police appeal to Chinese Communities in the Solomon Islands, more especially in Honiara City to remain calm and allow this investigation to take its course.
