Solomon time

DEAR EDITOR, as a student and a concerned citizen of Solomon Islands, I was apprehensive to see Solomon time as part of our modern Solomon Islands.

Most people in our country did not consider time as very important in relation to their work.

I want to urge Solomon islanders to refrain from the attitude of lateness to work places.

Solomon time is not a nature for, increase production of goods and services.

This will continue to hinder perfect services that need to be produced.

This problem of time mismanagement undermines production of goods and quality of service delivery and finally the economy of the country.

I think the solution for that was that, we need to change our attitude towards time, which is everyone, should be on time to their various work places.

This will help to improve the quality of services provided.

Furthermore if we continue to peruse this good attitude it will penetrate into the future society.

I urge those with responsibility in work places like managers and time keepers to do their work seriously by encouraging their staffs to be on time.

Another action I would like to see was all companies and government sectors to provide transport services to their staffs this will help them to be on time for their work places.
