THE Prime Minister, Hon. Manasseh Sogavare has reiterated Solomon Islands’ unwavering support for the Republic of China on Taiwan.

He made the reiteration in Honiara today after receiving 33,000 yards of fabrics from the Taiwanese Ambassador to Solomon Islands, HE Roger Luo.

The fabrics have been donated by Simply Help Foundation, a Taiwanese-American Charity which is based in Los Angeles of the United States.

They were transported to Honiara on board the Taiwan’s Navy Squadron which visited the national capital on April 14.

Mr Sogavare says the donation was a gift from the heart and affirms the friendly relations between the two countries and their peoples.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sogavare says a special committee will be set up by his office to decide on who will be recipients of the fabrics.
