WESTERN Province Premier Hon Wayne Maepio has thanked the New Zealand Foreign Minister McCully on behalf of the People of Western Province.

Hon Maepio sincerely acknowledged and appreciate Mr Mc Cully on behalf of the government and the people of the Western Province, and the nation Solomon Islands as a whole, for wisdom, trust, confidence and determination he has rendered on behalf of his government during his time as New Zealand’s Foreign Minister to offer such valuable assistance to Solomon Islands.

He added “the true partnership that we have. We are so thankful for what he has done.

“Mr Murray Mc Cully indeed has left a distinct legacy that will always be remembered.”
