SICCI invited to attend World Chambers Congress
THE Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SICCI) will participate at an international meeting of chamber organisations at the World Chambers Congress (WCC) 2017 this September.
SICCI was officially invited to participate at the WCC’s 10th edition that will be held from 19 – 21 September 2017 in Sydney, Australia.
The WCC 2017 is jointly organised by the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), World Chambers Federation (WCF) and Sydney Business Chamber, a division of the NSW Business Chamber.
Chair Jay Bartlett, Vice Chair Katalaini Ziru and CEO Dennis Meone will attend on SICCI’s behalf.
“We’re pleased and very honoured to be called on to join other chamber organisations from across the world at this World Chambers Congress,” said Mr Bartlett.
“It’s a privileged opportunity and one that we as a Chamber will use to connect and build useful networks, learn and strengthen our partnership with other chambers of commerce.
“In addition, the Congress will be attended by many chambers of commerce in the region and globally, and it is a perfect opportunity for us to gain exposure internationally.”
