Marist signs Fa’arodo

VETERAN Midfielder and outgoing Western United Skipper Henry Fa’arodo Jr has signed a one year deal with Marist FC.
Marist FC in a statement announced the one year contract with Marist United late yesterday.
The 32 year old central midfielder has won his 50th cap for Solomon Islands, and recently has skippered Western United in two successive seasons where they finished runner up in 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 Telekom S-League seasons.
Fa’arodo becomes Marist first major signing this new season of the Telekom Super League (TSL).
The 2016-2017 TSL season will kick-off on July.
Marist FC is the current Telekom S-League champions for 2015-2016 season.
SunSPORT understands Mr Fa’arodo will bring with him his wealth of experience for the club as the new season kicks off.
