Investigation into LGZ homicide still ongoing
INVESTIGATION into the LGZ homicide is still ongoing despite the recent arrests of the two suspects, with police digging deeper into the matter.
Police Commissioner, Matthew Valley told this to local media during a media conference yesterday.
He furthers that police are working tirelessly with witnesses and suspects.
“At this point in time the suspects do not have come forward with too much additional information.
“But we are still working on other avenues of inquiries that set before to identify if there are other people involved.
“We also work on tracking down work properties that might be stolen from the premises and where they went.
“So the investigation doesn’t stop. The two suspects already arrested but for now I won’t say where the investigation is heading,” Mr Valley said.
He said police are working exceptionally hard to continue into their enquiry and also preparing the police evidences for court purposes.
On the same note, Mr Valley thanked the community leaders who have helped police with their investigations.
“We won’t concluded the investigation in time without information and report from the public.
“So I want to extend my thanks to the communities and officers involved making the two arrests successful,” he said.
