CIP CEO in politics

DEAR EDITOR, the central island province has voted in a new premier and appointment of ministers last week.

It is a long time coming for the last government to change.

The last government of Mapuli had removed the provincial secretary and was going to appoint Janet Nori the current Chief Education Officer to the post.

The CEO has been involving herself in politics since she took the post of CEO.

She seems to involve herself in every happening here at CIP.

One clear example is her chairing the tribal chiefs meeting about the siota land where she totally doesn’t have any knowledge about the issue.

Again she wants to become Provincial Secretary and wants to prove to the last provincial government that she is one of the dreamers to the post.

The Vasuni government must act upon these allegations against the CEO and remove her from central islands.

The Siota grants were misused and the CEO was one of the co-signer of the Cheque.

EA grants were also misused.

I call upon the ministry of Education to recall the CEO.

We have qualified people of Central Islands who can do the job more efficiently than this current CEO.

The CEO does not work together with the PEO.

We prefer the PEO Mr Kasuni to be the CEO.

Other provinces have their CEO from that province, what about us?

Her dream to become the Provincial Secretary has been shunned by voting in the new government.

Long live CIP our home.

JACOB MANEBO
