WESTERN United FC needs to work on the behaviour of its players as they prepare for the upcoming O-League.
Western United’s coach yesterday made the comments after witnessing several players’ behaviours which did not go well with his books.
Head Coach Commins Menapi told the media after the match yesterday that some attitude shown by his players are utterly abhorrent and unacceptable for a professional franchise.
He admits this is a serious problem and assures public that he will work on straightening out his players’ attitudes before the O-League kicks off.
“I feel not really good with what happen, but it does happen and it already finished.
“And it was lucky that it happen here rather than if it could happen to us during the O-League.
“But I see it’s an areas to improve and I’ll work on it with my boys to improve on it,” the head coach said.
Yesterday, Western United was awashed with yellow cards, even Nelson Sale was red carded for slapping Marist’s Brazilian striker Guilherme Guedes on his cheek.
Sale’s brother, Moffat Kilifa was also doing the same as his brother when confronting James Egeta after the final whistle was blown.
During the second friendly between the two O-League reps, similar incidents happened when Lenson Bisili was sent off for using foul language at the referee.
