REP hands over completed project to Panatina ward communities today

Looking at the new Jacob’s ladder which will officially handover today
Mbaranaba-Panatina Ridge Community today receives its Jacob’s ladder pathway from the Rapid Employment Project (REP).
The Panatina Ward and REP will mark the occasion with a hand-over ceremony for the 85-metre pathwawy.
The REP Project Manager, Mr Salvador Jiao said the project cost SBD$$58,338 and they spent SBD$20,400 wages to 21 workers which have taken them 30 days to completes the construction.
The project is said to help the nearly 800 people living in the community.
Completing the project Mr Jiao said has taken local constructors 30 days starting from February 22 – March 28.
REP establishment in Solomon Islands is in conjunction with the Honiara City Council-REP HCC and the Ministry of Infrastructure Development, MID-REP.
