Meeting to help effective preaching

THE indigenous Dominican Friars of Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea held a meeting purposely to help them be effective preachers amongst their communities.

The meeting was held in the Dominican Friars Centre at Henderson between the 3rd and 5th of this month.

According to Nerio Ulemiki, the media coordinator for Christ the King parish at Voruvoru Northwest Choiseul, the two important areas looked at in their meeting was first, how they lived their lives in the Dominican community and secondly, how their lives in their community can help them serve God better.

“The meeting helped us with more insights into effective preaching of the gospel and how to live according to it,” commented Fr Henry Paroiop the Parish Priest of Christ the King Parish who also attended the meeting.
