DEAR EDITOR, a 20 foot container of medical equipment and supplies will reach the NRH in July.

The NZ based charity trust, ‘Take My Hands’, has confirmed to me that the container is already loaded and due to be shipped to Honiara.

The contents of the container includes, air mattresses, bedside cabinets, hospital beds, crutches, boots, leg braces, hospital bed sheets, scrub uniforms, nurses gowns, latex gloves, walking frames, wheeled walking frames, walking sticks and oxygen masks.

Additionally, the container has 49 New Testament Bibles for sick patient’s spiritual needs.
