THE media will be allowed to do coverage on the next Provincial Public Accounts Committee (PPAC) meeting and not the current one, according to the Western Province Premier.

This is so that everyone in the provincial governments committee are prepared for what is to be said and heard because they believe very much on transparency.

The Premier for Western Province Hon Wayne Maepio made this assurance and remarks yesterday.

He said the next PPAC meeting is to be aired as that is his way forward.

“We will make sure that the next PPAC will be open for the media to do coverage for everyone as it will be for the benefit of the province,” said the Premier.

According to the Provincial government’s timeline, this week is for the Budget Meeting while next week will be the executive meeting and the following week starting on the 27th, the Provincial Assembly Meeting.

These are the three main events for these three next week’s currently along the timeline for the Western Provincial government.
