HM Queen Elizabeth 65 years on the royal throne

DEAR EDITOR, yesterday, February 6, 2017, marks the 65th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II accession to the British throne.
Her Majesty, also the Head of State of the Solomon Islands succeeded to the throne following the death of her father, HM King George VI.
The Queen is now 90 years old and the world’s longest reigning Monarch.
