The Police Prosecutor made several calls outside the court as there was no appearance from the accused.

The warrant will be reviewed on the next appearance date.

This is the case against Dorinda Bennie Ouou who is facing charges of embezzlement and four counts of conversion.

Police alleged that the woman on unknown dates between November 30 2012 and January 1st 2013 did fraudulently embezzle a sum of $3000 property of the Solomon Islands Government.

And on the same date she did convert money belonging to four others for her own use, the matter was then reported to the police and investigations were carried out and later she was arrested and charged for the offence.

Police Prosecutor Iete Tebakota prosecutes the matter in court while lawyer from Public Solicitor’s Office represents the accused.
