THE Solomon Islands Women in Business Association (SIWIBA) has elected its new Board for 2017 – 2018.

The election took place during the SIWIBA Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the YWCA Conference Room yesterday.

New SIWIBA Board are: President: Mrs Pamela Zoleveke, Vice President: Mrs Julie Gegeu Haro, Treasurer: Mrs Dalcy Tekulu, Secretary: Ms Soledad Bilaro.

Board Members: Mrs Tele Bartlett, Mrs Ethel Saelea, Mrs Rose Kori, Mrs Michelle Leafasia, Ms Karina Paenitala.

Speaking after the election, the outgoing President, Mrs Dalcy Tekulu, who served two terms, urged members to give the same support to the new Board and to work in achieving more great things for SIWIBA.

Members expressed satisfaction with the combination of the new Board which includes three new members in the governing body.
