ROC navy squadron’s Lawson Tama show cancelled
TAIWAN’S Embassy in Solomon Islands has cancelled the ROC Navy squadron performance planned for Lawson Tama Stadium tomorrow.
This is because of the Easter Good Friday, explains the Embassy.
According to Taiwan’s statement, “In observance of Christian tradition on Good Friday, the ROC Taiwan had decided to cancel performances by ROC Navy Squadron at Lawson Tama Stadium 3.30pm Friday.”
However, Taiwan Embassy said other activities will be continuing as normal according to its programme.
The Navy Squadron will conduct volunteer medical service at the National Referral Hospital on Saturday morning as well as a performance at Art Gallery 3pm that day.
The Squadron will also pay courtesy calls to Solomon Islands Government Officials.
