HHH hammered Matangiki

HENDERSON Hammerheads (HHH) cruised to an easy 29 – 8 win Matangiki in the tenth game of action of the Honiara Rugby Union Association (HRUA) Low Price Enterprise rugby league.

The former HRUA champions got off to a positive start, taking 14 – 3 lead in the first half of the game at Town Ground Rugby Stadium yesterday.

Henderson Hammerheads had an impressive start when its left winger made a superb solo effort by overcoming his opponents and run for a try from the mid left side of the field.

Despite having a few chances, Matangiki perform exceptionally well but only manage to clinch three points in the second half of the game.

Henderson Hammerheads managed four more points to sealed off their win.

Town Ground Rugby Stadium was packed with hundreds who came to witness the encounter yesterday.

Next game which is game number 11 will be played on Wednesday afternoon 5 April at Town Ground Stadium.

HRUA President Carlwyn Tengemoana was pleased that yesterday’s game went well with both teams showed spirit of sportmanship.
