Gov’t prioritizes micro, small and medium enterprise sector: Muala
THE Minister of Commerce, Industry, Labour and Immigration Hon Elijah Doro Muala says growing the micro, small and medium enterprise sector has emerged as one of the key priorities of the Democratic Coalition for Change Government.
Hon Muala highlighted this during the opening of the Business Development Service Center on Friday.
He said the Democratic Coalition for Change Government through the Ministry of Commerce Industries, Labour and immigration as well as other line ministries and stakeholders will continue to work towards implementing micro, small and medium enterprise policy.
He said the strategy is to ensure the facilitation of economic growth, job creation and achieve its development goals.
“We will continue to work towards a future where all Solomon Islanders can live and pursue their happiness in harmony with the vision.”
“Improving the Social and Economic Livelihoods of all Solomon Islanders, “he added.
“Objective three of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise policy and strategy is particularly significant to facilitate Micro, Small and Medium enterprise access to business Development Services,” Hon Muala said.
He said that it recognise the importance of providing micro, small and medium enterprises with access to business development service as a means of promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth and employment.
